Continuing on the Google theme my last blog posts have had. Google just happens to have some of the best web apps around and there's no getting around that.

I have to admit I love statistics, and this of course means this site as many others gathers statistics via the Google Analytics service. Polaris is an excellent Adobe AIR application that brings live statistics from your site right to your desktop. This itself is no major deal, but I was surprised to see that the application doesn't just look good, it also does a surprisingly good job of displaying the most relevant data in a light weight, small application window.

So one tab less in your browser window if you're a stats junkie like me! If only it had a "minimize to tray" function then it would be perfect.
